PILATES includes over 500 precise movements performed on the mat or special apparatus, designed to lengthen, strengthen, and stretch muscle without adding bulk. Pilates requires concentration and coordinated breathing – strengthening the mind/body. We offer private, semi private and group sessions. Pilates of Boca teaches Classical Pilates and our instructors are well trained to teach individuals of all levels. Pilates of Boca also offers Pilates certifications.
XTEND BARRE is Boca’s premier Ballet Barre Workout, incorporating ballet moves, isometric exercises and orthopedic stretches. Enjoy the cardio workout of a dancer as you sculpt your body, improve endurance, and enhance posture and flexibility. Pilates of Boca is proud to offer Xtend Barre Instructor Training Programs.
XTEND BARRE STICK Xtend Barre Stick is consistent and unique to Xtend Barre and the perfect complement to traditional Xtend Barre class. The Barre Stick classes follow a firmly structured format. The purpose is to continue to improve the foundations of the Xtend Barre workout by challenging balance and stability with the Barre Stick.
SPINNING is one of the best cardio, fat-burning workouts. You will burn 400-600 calories in a 55 minute workout. Top notch instructors, invigorating music and music videos, and visualization make this class fun and effective. The workout is adaptable to all fitness levels as resistance is controlled by the individual. Pilates of Boca is proud to offer Spinning Certifications.
CORE CARDIO is a dynamic interval training workout that incorporates treadmills, rowing machines, TRX, weights, and medicine balls. Pilates of Boca is the only studio in town to offer Core Cardio!
YOGA creates balance in the mind/body through developing both strength and flexibility. This is done through the performance of postures, each of which has specific physical benefits. The postures can be done quickly in succession, creating heat in the body through movement or more slowly to increase stamina and perfect the alignment of the posture. After yoga, you will float out of the studio!
